The exchange for GPU compute

Trade compute like a commodity.

One PIG is the Price Index for GPU: a standardised unit of GPU compute. Buy capacity when you need it, sell idle cards when you don't, and hedge the price of tomorrow's training run today.

Markets

Every card, one price language.

GPU types trade against the PIG index, so an H100 hour in Frankfurt and a MI300X hour in Virginia can be compared, bought and hedged in the same unit.

How it works

From idle silicon to a price you can plan with.

  1. 01

    List capacity

Providers list GPU hours with their hardware, region and availability window. Each listing is benchmarked and converted to PIGs.

  2. 02

    Price in PIG

Every listing is quoted in one unit, so buyers compare cards, clouds and regions without a spreadsheet of exchange rates.

  3. 03

    Trade or hedge

Buy spot hours for today's job, or lock tomorrow's training run with a forward contract priced against the index.

  4. 04

    Settle and run

Matched orders settle automatically and access is provisioned to the buyer's workload, metered in PIG-hours.

For buyers

Know what compute will cost before you commit.

  • One price unit across GPU types and regions
  • Spot hours for bursts, forwards for planned runs
  • Budget alerts when the index moves

For providers

Turn idle cards into a steady income line.

  • List capacity in minutes, priced against the index
  • Sell forward to fill next quarter's calendar
  • Benchmarked listings that buyers trust

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What exactly is a PIG?

PIG stands for Price Index for GPU. It is a standardised unit of GPU compute: different cards are benchmarked and expressed as a number of PIGs per hour, so their prices become directly comparable.

Is pigXchange live?

Not yet. This site is a concept demo and every figure on it is illustrative sample data. Request access to hear when trading opens.

Who can trade?

The plan is to open first to companies buying GPU compute for training and inference, and to data centres and clouds with capacity to sell.

Why the flying pig?

Because predictable compute prices sounded about as likely as pigs flying. Ours has golden wings and lives in a rain of GPUs.

When pigs fly, compute gets cheaper.
